Welcome to Pawtraits by Jim. With camera phones becoming commonplace and so good these days why would you pay someone to take pictures of your dog?

Well as good as an iPhone is it still can’t quite compete with professional photography equipment which costs thousands of dollars. But aside from the technical component - as a photographer my job and maybe talent - is working with you and your pet to capture their personality.

There are a lot of dog pictures I see where they are just patiently sitting and those are of course nice. But what I really want to give you is a memory. Something that when your best friend has gone you can look at, that will spark that special remembrance of what made them unique to you.

To me that is priceless and I cherish the images that I have of my best friends especially the ones that remind of their quirks and weird little things that made them special to me.
